LIGHT
Light travels in a straight line.
Objects look enlarged in water. (ex: pen in a cup of water)
Refraction: light changes direction, going from one medium to another (air to water- Remember the super absorbing balls or a pen in a cup of water looking broken) (ex: eye contacts, telescopes)
We see light at being white, but that is not what color really is.
X-Ray, Ultra Violet, Violet, Indigo, Blue, Green, Yellow, Orange, Red, Infrared (Snakes see in infrared.)
Only ROYGBIV are visible to the human eye

BLACK: "eats" absorbs all the colors, that is why it gets hot (Black is our perception of no light.)
WHITE: all colors bounce off
GREEN: green bounces off and all other colors are "eaten," so we only see green
BLUE: blue bounces off and all other colors are "eaten," so we only see blue
Violet has short wave lengths and red has long wave lengths. Everything in the middle is a gradual progression.
In the picture below, all colors of the ROYGBIV spectrum are sent into the t-shirt. Every color except orange is absorbed (RYGBIV) and orange is bounced off. That is why we see this t-shirt as being the color orange.

Reflections
- The light reflects off of the mirror at the same angle that it hits the mirror.
- Used laser and mirror to find this out
